DryerJack®

Did you know that shorter duct runs, created by venting the dryer straight through the roof, can improve drying efficiency and lessen lint buildup? However, there were no roof terminations that met all the stringent dryer venting requirements. Until now.

Built in the U.S., DryerJack® is engineered specifically for dryers. They meet or exceed all code requirements and deliver superior airflow efficiency. It’s manufactured with heavy gauge Galvalume® steel and designed for low-profile, airflow-efficient performance. The hood’s wide opening, protected by a patented, curved damper, is cleaning tool accessible and handles the demanding needs for properly venting a dryer.

DryerWallVent®

Many homes lack the dyer vents they need. Plastic vents fade and crack from sun exposure, and lightweight metal gets easily crushed. The DryerWallVent® offers a better solution. Made in the U.S. from powder-coated Galvalume® steel (and PPG Envirocron® for added weather resistance and visual appeal), the DryerWallVent® resists fading and cracking.

The DryerWallVent® meets or exceeds all code requirements for safely venting a dryer, and it outperforms other exterior termination options.

Designed with clean lines, a smooth finish, and a low profile, DryerWallVent® also offers aesthetically pleasing wall terminations that enhance a home's exterior beauty.

Protech carries this DryerWallVent® product:

DryerWallVent®: Serious performance comes from exceptional features delivering benefits in longevity, aesthetics, efficiency, and ease of install. This type of construction forces Galvalume® steel into a tight-fitting form, and it is powder coated with PPG Envirocron® for added weather resistance and visual appeal.

Details:

  • Maximum Airflow Efficiency
  • Easy Cleaning Access
  • Built Tough in the USA
  • Gravity-Assist Damper, and Integrated Magnets Provide Extra Protection from Weather and Pests

The Dryerbox®

Traditional dryer exhaust systems have lots of issues. The flex duct hose that connects the dryer to the wall exhaust pipe can easily bend or kink, causing inefficient venting of the dryer appliance. These bends can also cause lint build-ups and can be potential fire hazards. To combat this issue, homeowners had to place their dryer appliance five to six inches away from the wall, taking away valuable space.

Dryerbox® changes the game. Made in the U.S., the Dryerbox® recessed exhaust receptacle lets you

place the dryer flush to the wall without crushing the exhaust hose or restricting airflow. Adding this receptacle makes homes roomier and more efficient. It also makes them safer by reducing the fire hazard associated with dryer venting problems. It’s even UL Classified for a 1-hour wall.

Protech carries this Dryerbox® product:

The Dryerbox®: Protecting the transition hose in the cell of the wall leaves extra space so the dryer can be placed flush to the wall. Additionally, avoiding extra bends and kinks behind the dryer creates shorter drying times – ultimately saving on energy bills, as well as appliance wear and tear.
