Murdock® M-150 1 1/2" Compression Hydrant, Side Inlet

This large-volume compression hydrant with a wheel handle delivers year-round service outside or in unheated buildings. This compression hydrant is ideal for auxiliary fire protection, wastewater treatment plants, railroads, and other areas requiring a large volume of water. It is designed for trouble-free reliability and easy maintenance. To provide freeze-resistant functionality, the control valve is located below the frost line. Turning the wheel handle raises or lowers the internal supply-line assembly, controlling the valve. The hydrant must be operated fully "on." Constructed of heavy brass, premium-quality gray iron, and steel, the M-150 is designed for trouble-free reliability and easy maintenance.
